Williamsburg and the Historic Triangle

We traveled frequently this year with most trips being structured around Ken or Gloria's work.  In May we visited Virginia's Historic Triangle to learn about the founding of our country from the likenesses of Patrick Henry, George Washington and other historical figures at the interactive living museum within the wonderfully restored city of Colonial Williamsburg.  We also visited Jamestown where the English first founded a Colony in the new world over 400 years ago and Yorktown, a key battleground in the revolutionary war, where the American’s defeated the English with the help of the French (who supplied military tactics and naval support) and the Dutch (who supplied weapons to the colonists).  We would highly recommend a visit to the Historic Triangle for anyone who is studying American history.
